Cancellations & Refunds

This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for NJB Social Dance ("NJBSD"), including classes, events, private lessons, and digital purchases.

Scope

Applies to all NJBSD offerings unless a product or event page states otherwise.

Key Definitions

  • Booking: Any confirmed purchase (class, course/block, private lesson, event ticket, online product).
  • Start Time/Date: The scheduled time a service begins )or the release date for digital content).
  • No-Show: You do not attend and do not cancel with the stated window.

Cancellations & Refund Windows

Drop-in Classes & Socials:

Cancel ≥ 24 hours before start → 100% refund or credit.

Cancel < 24 hours or no-show → no refund (credit at NJBSD's discretion).

Private Lessons:

Cancel ≥ 24 hours before start → 100% refund or credit.

Cancel < 24 hours or no-show → no refund (coach time is reserved)

Ticketed Events:

Cancel ≥ 7 days before start → 100% refund or credit.

Cancel < 7 days → name changes/transfer allowed if permitted; otherwise no refund.

Digital Products/Subscriptions:

Downloaded/consumed content → non-refundable.

Ongoing subscriptions can be cancelled anytime, remaining period continues until end of current cycle.

Rescheduling & Credits

Where available, you may move to a later date or request account credit (valid 6 months from issue).

Credits are non-transferable unless NJBSD approves.

How to cancel or request a refund

Use your booking confirmation link, reply to your booking email, or contact support@njbsocialdance.com with: name, order number, product, and reason.

processing times

  • Approved Refunds: Issued to original payment method within 5-10 business days.
  • Credits: Applied to your account within 2 business days.

NJBSD Cancellations

If NJBSD cancels or materially changes an event/service, you'll be offered a new date, credit, or full refund.

Abuse & Fair Use

NJBSD may refuse refunds where there is suspected misuse of this policy.
